Cots Cheddar Tea Sandwiches

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 Tab. finely chopped onion
3 strips well-cooked and drained crumbled bacon

Combine all ingredients and refrigerate an hour before making into sandwiches. Makes 16-quarter sandwiches.

This sandwich was served at a tea I attended at a Victorian Home in Knoxville. The Mabry-Hazen House was built in 1858 and showcases one of the largest collections of original artifacts including china, silver, crystal, and antique furnishings. It was a wonderful place for tea with new friends.
