Monday, May 21
Lax to London

Travel from Los Angeles to London on Virgin Atlantic.

Tuesday, May 22nd
Arrive London

Arrive London, transfer to The Gainsborough Hotel, which is idealy located just a short distance from Harrods and The Victoria and Albert Museum. Our first day in one of the world's most exciting cities! Afternoon to get settled, or maybe a walk to Harrods or Kensington Palace. Get acquainted dinner in the evening. (B&D)

Wednesday, May 23rd
London

An exciting day of *sightseeing, as we experience an overview of London. We will see Parliment, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Thames River, plus much more. You will have the opportunity to select sites that will be of interest for independent activity in the afternoon or the following day. Dinner at a 400 year old pub on Chaney Walk, dining on dishes that only can be found in England. (B&D)

Thursday, May 24th
London

After breakfast at the hotel, it's off to Buckingham Palace to view the changing of the guard, a tradition that has remained one of London's best shows. Today we see London in a whole new venue...on the *London Eye. The rest of your day at leisure to explore some of the delights of London, museums, gardens or shopping. At tea time we will meet at one of London's most elegant hotels, Claridges. The lovely and peaceful atsmophere is the perfect place to experience a traditional English Tea. The evening will be spent at the fabulous* Chelsea Flower Show. You will see flowers in colors you never expected. (B&T)

Friday, May 25th
London

After breakfast at the hotel, you have the day to explore London's vast and varied historical palaces, gardens and museums, or shopping at the numerous department stores, or small unique shops. Experience the transportation of getting around London on the "tube", buses or taxis. Evening, optional theatre or dinner. Your last night in London! (B)

Saturday, May 26th
London to Bath

After breakfast at the hotel, we depart via private mini-van to *Hampton Court Palace, Then it's off to Bath with a view of some of the lovely countyside. We will be staying in one of the most beautiful cities in England, at the lovely Waterside Hilton. We will walk where "Jane Austin" walked, talked and took tea in the Pump Room. Dinner in town. Sunday, May 27th
Bath

Bath is a city alive with modern shops, but steeped in Roman history. Known to the Romans as "Aquae Sulis", this city is the most celebrated mineral spa in England. Your day will begin with a *tour of this glorious city, see where the rich and famous spent their holidays thousands of years ago! You may want to attend services at Bath Abbey. A short drive into the countryside will take us to a private home for a very traditional Sunday Lunch. This dinner is part of the tour that is very different from many others, and one that you will enjoy immensely. Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding and all the wonderful vegetables, etc, topped off by fabulous "Puddings" or desserts. Evening at Leisure. (B&L)

  Monday, May 28
Bath

This morning we will tour the ancient *Roman Baths, an engineering feat that has made the city famous. Some free time to visit the Assembly Rooms where people met in the 18th century to drink tea, dance and enjoy card games. A "must see" is the *Museum of Costume where you can enjoy the extraordinary exhibit of elaborate clothing from the Stuarts to the present day. A drive into the country side in the afternoon to have tea at a private English Country Manor Farm, owned by Prince Charles! He has been served tea here, and highly recommends it! The evening is free for your leisure. (B&T)

Tuesday, May 29nd
Bath to Stratford upon Avon

After breakfast, we visit *Warwick Castle, one of the most wonderful medieval castles in England. Perched on a rocky cliff above the river Avon, the castle at one time housed William the Conqueror. What is so delightful about this castle, is the collection of lifelike, wax figures from Madam Tussaud's. "A Royal Weekend House Party of 1898" displays important figures of the time, including young Winston Churchill. The castle also has a beautiful recreated Victorian rose garden. Lunch on your own at the castle, and then on to Stratford upon Avon. We will be staying at the Stratford Victoria Hotel, conveniently located near the city center. One of the tour's fun evenings is having English Fish and Chips the traditional English way! (B&D)

Wednesday. May 30th
Stratford upon Avon

ShakespeareUs hometown - what a delightful place! All the places you've read about: Ann Hathaway's Cottage, New Place, Holy Trinity Church, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. It is like a dream come true. We will take a *tour of the whole area, then have the afternoon to visit and go back to places you want to see. That evening, we will go to dinner and a performance at *The Royal Shakespeare Company, overlooking the River Avon. The selection is pending until announcent of play. (B&D)

Thursday, May 31st
Cotswolds

After breakfast, we spend the day *touring the pastoral Cotswolds, one of the most picturesque regions of the world. An area of grassy limestone hills, deep ravines, and plateaus known as wolds-Old English for "God's high open land". You will delight in the quaint little villages built of honey-brown Cotswold stone, all with an antique store or two. Lunch on your own in one of the villages. We arrive at The Manor House in The Cotswolds late afternoon. After dinner, evening at leisure.(B&D)

Friday, June 1st
Cotswolds

Today will be our last day to enjoy the beauty of England. The lovely countryside and quaint village of Castle Combe will be the perfect ending to an incredible visit to the heart of England. A lovely garden tea, weather permitting on The Manor's lawns, where Dr. Doolittle was filmed, and a stroll around the village. Farewell dinner at the Manor. (B&D)

Saturday, June 2nd
London to Los Angles

Our final morning, after breakfast, we head back to the airport. We will see more of the lovely countryside as we say farewell to England, We will remember how she treated us to a part of her history, leaving with us wonderful memories. At London Heathrow, you have one more oportunity to shop in the airport shops, including Harrods, and all VAT free.(B)
