I AM THANKFUL FOR:

The clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means I have enough to eat.
For a lawn that needs raked, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing, because it means I have a home.
For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means that I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with means off transportation.
For the piles of washing and ironing I have, because it means I have clothes to wear.
For the woman who sings off key in church on Sundays, because it means I can hear.
The teenager who is not helping with the dishes, but watching TV because that means they are at home and not on the streets.
For too much e-mail, like this newsletter, because it means I have friends who are thinking of me.

CHRISTMAS TIPS/GIFT IDEAS

1. Don't bake your cookies too early. The will get eaten, and you'll have nothing left!
2. Don't try to make your house look like a house in a magazine.
3. Keep the holiday meal simple - eliminate some of the extras that only a few people eat anyway.
4. Keep exercising. Not only does it combat the extra calories; it is a great stress reducer.
5. Turn holiday tasks into restive occasions. Wrap presents in front of a crackling fire and play holiday music. Go out for hot chocolate after buying the Christmas tree.
6. Take time for a cup of tea during all the hectic activities. You will be amazed at how your perspective will change.
7. Gifts: Nothing says love like a cup of tea - send a warm and cozy present this year. Teacups, Scone Mix, Breakfast Gift Sets, Teapots, and Tea Cozies make great gifts for everyone on your list.
